Summary

Under general supervision The Client Relationship Manager acts as a key liaison between larger clients and Stifel Wealth and Investment Management, ensuring that such clients are able to avail themselves of the full range of investment solutions available to them through Stifel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client portfolios; regularly engage with clients.
  • Conduct quarterly/annual client performance reviews in conjunction with the Investment Representative.
  • Coordinate enrollment campaigns/meetings for high net worth individuals/individual investors.
  • Analyze and evaluate client needs, and provide recommendations with respect to the issues identified, along with potential strategies for further enhancing client relationship.
  • Research, investigate, and analyze client queries and other significant matters and develop strategic responses as needed and at own judgement.
  • Partner with the Relationship Manager to assess and evaluate client needs and to create further client development opportunities; prepare recommendations for client development opportunities.
  • Other such duties as may be necessary to maximize client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Time Management - Managing one's own time and priorities to ensure the meeting of deadlines.
  • Oral and Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in spoken or written form so that others will understand.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years financial services experience.

Licenses & Credentials

  • Series 7 and 63, with 66 preferred or the ability to pass the 65, as business need dictates

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Salary: $71,300 - $106,800 per year

Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate's qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel's overall compensation package for each individual employee.
