Current Need
Finance Rotational Development Program (FRDP) Intern

Position Description

Interns will work with a project leader and anexecutive sponsor to research a key business issue within the company,benchmark best practices, complete competitive analysis and craft a solutionoriented strategy to create added economic value for the company or ourcustomers. Internshiplocations may include (but are not limited to) San Francisco, CA, Irving, TX(Dallas), The Woodlands, TX (Houston), Richmond, VA, Jacksonville, FL, andAtlanta, GA. MBAinterns may be involved in:

  • Identificationof facts and issues surrounding key healthcare trends and business topics
  • Researchof best practices, emerging business trends and positions of competitors
  • Designof competitive strategy and offerings to achieve value-added, cost-effectivebusiness solutions
  • Identificationof performance opportunities
  • Developmentand delivery of an executive presentation

Potentialprojects may include:

  • Developmentof strategic options to maximize return on McKesson's strong cash positionincluding analysis of various capital structuring options for the company.
  • Project related tostrategies for moving toward driver-based forecasting and strategic planningthroughout McKesson including research on value drivers by area. Complete a project and submit a proposal tothe executive team on what a value driver scorecard would look like forMcKesson.
  • Analysisof trends in the pharmacy industry, both at the macro and prescription level,leading to development pricing strategies that address customer pain points.
  • Assessand develop program strategies to capitalize on emerging customersegments.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements
At least three years of professional work experience.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Candidatesshould possess:

  • Undergraduatedegree in accounting/finance or prior work experience involving finance,accounting, economics, banking or other analytical functions is preferred
  • Demonstratestrategic and analytical thinking; demonstrate sound judgment and a willingnessto result issues and problems in a timely manner
  • Demonstratepersonal commitment and drive to set and then meet or exceed high standards andobjectives
  • Actwith integrity in all relationships and issues; understand impact of ownbehaviors on others
  • Possessexcellent communications skills and have the ability to develop rapport andcredibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively
  • Havecompleted their first year studies in an MBA program
  • Be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful U.S. permanentresident, a refugee approved for entry into the U.S. or a person who has beengranted asylum in the U.S.
  • Havea minimum of 3 years work experience (service-related company is preferred)

Education
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the internship to be eligible
