Job Description/Summary:

The Advanced Mobile Solutions (AMS) Division at Skyworks' Irvine, CA design center is seeking a 2018 Summer Intern to work on SAW/BAW Filter Design. The Intern will join a group of RF design engineers in support of high-volume sub-systems for cellular handset applications. The SAW/BAW design team is responsible for designing and testing of SAW/BAW filters and duplexers and for co-working with RF module development teams in optimizing performance.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a MS or PhD program studying Electrical Engineering
• Must be returning to school at the end of the summer (we will not consider students who are graduating before December 2018)
• Posess a reasonable understanding of SAW/BAW or piezoelectric MEMS technologies
• Demonstrated understanding of RF, Microwave or Wireless Technologies (must have completed coursework in these areas)
• Experience with IC design software such as Cadence, HFSS, ADS, etc.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
• A driven, committed team player
