Learning Experience Manager, Small Business Card

As a Learning Experience Manager within the Small Business Card Team at Capital One, you will work collaboratively with senior business leaders and product owners to research, design and develop a learning agenda for the Small Business Card organization. You will use a delicate mix of communication, marketing, design and learning elements to create enhanced learning experiences and courses for internal associates and our small business customers. You'll ensure digital and in-person learning experiences are designed to meet the end-learner and business objectives while leveraging Capital One's brand and design standards. This is a dynamic and high visibility role for someone who loves collaboration, creative thinking and thrives on delivering results within white space.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Management and Leadership team to conduct learner research and assess business needs to inform the Small Business Card learning strategy and pipeline of work.

  • Work collaboratively with other program managers, internal communications specialists, brand and marketing associates, designers and developers to ensure learning touchpoints and learner objectives are cohesive across the end-to-end experience.

  • Identify new and innovative ways to deliver effective learner experiences that reach a broad and diverse audience.

  • Design highly polished blended learning touchpoints (digital, video, audio, classroom, virtual classroom, experiential, mobile, social, etc.) that adhere to our One Brand & Design guidelines.

  • Measure the effectiveness of custom training programs; share results and partner with leaders to improve learner reach and impact.

  • Create learner personas and journey maps to outline the broader scope of the end-to-end blended learning experiences for both internal associates and external customers.

  • Use design thinking practices to understand, design, and iterate on custom learning programs.

  • Manage the ongoing process of training program review, delivery, measurement, reporting, and revision.

  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or military experience

- At least 2 years of experience in learning design and development

- At least 3 years of experience in consulting or performance consulting

- At least 3 years of experience leading projects or working in Agile teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience creating a learning strategy and curriculum based on learner needs, business needs, and modern learning theories and models

- 2-3 years experience in communication, marketing, brand or design

- 2-3 years experience in building training presentations

- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma Certification
