Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements Must be fluent in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ProE (CREO) experience helpful. Initiates, directs and manages the design, development, constructing and modification of components, finished goods and tooling from conception to implementation. Works closely with other departments to coordinate design engineering activities. Reviews, initiates or approves engineering drawings, layouts, changes orders and specifications. Design manufacturing tooling using SolidWorks, often where no tooling currently exists to perform the task. Redesign existing machines and tooling to implement improvements in functionality, safety, or efficiency. Generate drawings and bills of materials in SolidWorks for all designed assemblies and tooling. Interface with outside vendors such as fabrication shops and suppliers Perform on-site installation and training (maintenance, engineering, user/operator) Provide post-installation and production support and troubleshooting (remotely and on-site) Research and test technologies and available components for future generations of automated machines Performs other duties as required
