Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nuclear Med Technologist – NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group.
In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary: Responsible for performing medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures; maintaining departmental standards in accordance with Policies and Procedures, and up-to-date knowledge on new techniques and procedures. This position works under limited supervision independently performing Nuclear Medicine testing. Work situations require a service-oriented individual. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, ingenuity, and strict adherence to radiation safety management guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology . Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program. Certification/registration in Nuclear Medicine (or eligibility) by either the: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) ; The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $44.25 – $49.06 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
