The VDC Application Developer designs, creates, tests, and updates program applications for use in engineering, construction, and operations management.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Develops desktop and web software applications to meet engineering, construction, and operations management needs.
- Creates and Implements source code using C#, Python
- Tests and Debugs source code
- Develops technical handbooks to be referenced by training in the use of new custom applications
- Collaborate with various project team members to ensure applications align with goals and customer needs
- Ensure all developed applications meet Exyte policies for security and governance.
- Remain current on technology trends to update existing software for efficiency and increased functionality
Show your expertise
- 1 - 3yrs Experience (professional or otherwise) as an applications developer
- 1-3 yrs experience in AEC field or related a plus
- Certification/Degree in application development a plus
- Deep understanding of core programming principles
- Comfortable in C#, Python for desktop development
- Experience with 3D geometry a plus
- Experience with web programming a plus
- Understanding of Autodesk Platform services APIs a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks API’s a plus
