Job Description:

Bellarmine University seeks a certified fitness instructor for the Department of Campus Recreation. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Instruct clients in a group format through organized fitness programs
  • Tailor programs based on the results that the clients wish to achieve
  • Possess knowledge to develop safe and effective personalized fitness programs for clients, including cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility components, based on their goals and motivations
  • Enhance knowledge through continuing education, etc to build skills
  • Enforce of rules and regulations
  • Communicate any equipment problems, member concerns, or suggestions to the Director of Campus Recreation.


Requirements:

The successful applicant must have a current nationally recognized fitness certification, $1 million in liability insurance, and current CPR & AED certification.


Additional Information:

This is a temporary, part-time position. Compensation ranges between $35-$40/hour, depending on experience.
