We are looking for an exceptional Engineering Change Specialist who can:

  • Work with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to understand the scope of a change and downstream impacts.
  • Manage the timely processing of complete and accurate Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Temporary Deviation Notices (TDN), Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO), and Special Product Request (SPR) in the Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
  • Ensures there is objective evidence of internal and when required, customer approval.
  • Ensure changes comply with company Quality Management System procedures, regulatory requirements and maintain data integrity through all aspects of the change process.
  • Supports New Part number and BOM creation in Agile PLM system. Create new Manufacturer/Manufacturer Part combination, download, and attach manufacturer datasheets, and if available, download manufacturer CAD models. Update Oracle Approved Manufacturer List (AML).
  • Execute data verification in the Oracle ERP system. Manage Product Holds, Partial Release from Hold and Full Release of Hold.
  • Generates and send ECO Backlog Report Engineering Managers for their review and action.
  • Generates and sends Finished Goods Report to personnel who have not approved for their review and action.
  • Assists in process and tool continuous improvement projects and other productivity related projects.

 

A minimum of 2 years’ experience interfacing or using PLM or other document management system is required. Use Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio.
