Job Title: Full-Time Maintenance Helper

• Mow, weeding, trimming in spring, summer and fall. Snow removal in winter
• Perform porter services picking up trash and cleaning planters.
• Cleaning sidewalks
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks. (Painting, material moves, assisting Maintenance Techs)

• High school graduate or G.E.D. or equivalent
• Experience working in retail environment a plus.
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift license is preferred
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to calculate simple addition and subtraction
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standards exist.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to safely negotiate ladders.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Show strong customer service skills
  

Physical Demands:

While performing the duty of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste or smell 100% of the time. Talk and hear 100% of the time. The employee must lift 10 to 50 pounds more than 1/3 of the time and no lifting of heavier pounds. No special vision requirements for this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather conditions, and heat seasonally.
