Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an OBGYN Generalist opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Our maternity care team features board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and an experienced team of certified sonographers, take great care in helping women manage their health at every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, delivery, and infancy. Approximately 1,000 births annually.

We specialize in the diagnosis and management of obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy. We perform advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high risk pregnancies.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
    Provide direct obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including ambulatory care clinics, in-patient services, and on-call coverage nights and weekends.
  • Provide gynecological surgical care to patients, including minimally invasive techniques.
  • Provide generalist obstetric and gynecologic care to patients.
  • Provide supervision and teaching to Fellows, Residents and Medical Students, including didactic sessions.
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities, as directed by department leadership.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
  • Laproscopic skills
  • Experience with minimally invasive surgery (or training)
  • Experience or training in robotic surgery
  • Interest in teaching
  • Russian fluency a plus, language skills in Chinese (mandarin) and Hebrew also helpful
