In the role of a Transit Structural Engineer, we'll count on you to:
Lead and perform engineering design tasks and coordinate with others in developing plans, specifications, and estimates for preliminary and final design
To be a technically focused structural designer with expertise in concrete and steel design
Will be responsible to design and check modeling software Will be responsible to create contract drawings and perform structural detailing
Review structural documents for transportation/transit related facilities for areas of conflict with all disciplines
Write and edit structural specifications, select procedures, materials and their respective sizes, and complete necessary calculations
Independently coordinate the work of the structural design team through the design development and contract document phases of a project
Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
Take responsibility for coordinating workload through design development and construction document phases to complete the documents on schedule and within budget
Ability to freely access all points of a project/construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments to perform inspections
Mentor junior staff with technical and professional development

The expected compensation range for this position is $86,188 - $123,125 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
