HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

We draw on the strength of our culture and structure to deliver the best of our firm to our lawyers and clients through true collaboration.  The firm is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to become an integral part of the Human Resources Department and will be responsible for supporting the group. The Human Resources Assistant will work closely with the Human Resources team.  This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Provide general HR support and guidance to all domestic and international offices.
  • Scheduling interviews.
  • Organize and audit employee personnel files.
  • Employment verifications.
  • Assist HR team in the following areas:
  • Transactional issues including Workday data entry.
  • Maintain job description files and conduct analyses.
  • Policy administration, including updating and interpreting policies for staff.
  • On-Boarding and Off-boarding including orientations and exit interviews.
  • Attendance tracking for all administrative departments via Workday

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must be extremely organized and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees throughout the firm.
  • Microsoft Office (strong emphasis on Excel and Power Point skills).

PREFERRED Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Workday HRIS system.
  • Law firm experience.
  • 1 year minimum human resources experience within a large law firm or professional services organization
