Job Description:

This is a regular, full-time, 40-hour per week 1st shift position providing general maintenance of the campus facilities, with a specialty in HVAC work. Individual must be able to work alone or as a member of a team, providing service as an HVAC technician, as well as all other facets of maintenance work, completing assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner. Duties include:

• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and repairs as assigned on HVAC equipment
• Perform maintenance tasks as assigned and within the limits of experience and training
• Ensure the proper, safe, and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a safe workshop area
• Assist in training of other maintenance personnel in areas where the HVAC tech has experience/expertise and be receptive to training from other maintenance staff
• Where possible, work with contractors to provide them with assistance, and learn maintenance and repair procedures from them on equipment being repaired, modified, or installed
• This position may require the individual to respond to emergencies after normal business hours as determined by the supervisor

Requirements:

Three years experience working on HVAC systems. Must possess a high School diploma and a valid drivers license.
