From your PASSION to ours

The Production Intern is a 10-week paid summer internship that will work within the Industrial Engineering team under the guidance and supervision of the Associate Plant Director. The intern will be working with the Associate Plant Director for the duration of the internship assisting with several projects in the plant. The internship is an onsite role that will be based out of our Walton location.

The internship program begins June 3rd and will go until August 8th.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Data collection and analysis of production data, supporting continuous improvement of production processes Work directly with operators to understand processes and opportunities for data identification and collection
• Learn and understand dairy/food manufacturing processes
• Learn and understand the Lactalis engineering function and capital request process
• Participate in regular production meetings to understand the Plant's daily operation

Requirements

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

• Candidate will possess or be pursuing a BA or MBA, with a specialization in dairy processing or engineering preferred
• Proficient in MS Office especially Excel. Use of Power BI a plus.
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility in an ever-changing environment
