BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

MILITARY TECHNICAL MANUALS

Merging your strong relationships with DTB's unparalleled service offerings is a winning combination while solving your clients' problems. We are looking for a talented candidate who can meet quotas, hunt, close, and all steps in between. The right candidate will work with the DTB Technical Service team to identify clients and engage in consultative selling.


Your strong abilities in these areas will be a key to success:

  • Experience selling services for military programs.
  • Motivated, a self-starter and enthusiastic.
  • Connected with key points of contact within prime contractors and US Department of Defense.
  • Successful at having, maintaining, and developing strong relationships within Aviation/Aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturers and Department of Defense decision makers.
  • Skilled at contacting clients and making introductions to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Proficient client advocate and communicator and anticipate client needs.
  • Efficient at providing ongoing communication internally and externally.
  • Capable of summarizing client requirements, even when they aren't defined or provided.
  • Understand DOD program milestones.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Ability to draw out clients virtually or on the road.
  • Experienced in selling services, NOT product.
  • Accustomed to meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

The ideal candidate will require:

  • 5+ years' experience selling military services.
  • Technical bachelor's degree in STEM discipline, a PLUS.
  • Experienced with Salesforce or CRM is a plus.
