Job Description

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must possess High School diploma or equivalent.

2. Be able to read, speak, and understand English.

3. Minimum of three years of practical experience in Quality Assurance required.

4. Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATFE).

5. Be able to learn and follow BATFE regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and maintain department compliance.

6. Possess strong understanding of and the ability to work in Microsoft Office software programs with proficiency in the use of Excel.

7. Background knowledge of ISO required.

8. Background knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing required.

9. Background in Statistical Process Control an asset.

10. Background knowledge of Military Standards helpful.

11. Experience with ERP system helpful.

12. Be able to work and communicate well with others.

13. Must maintain confidentiality of all company related information.

14. Possess initiative and the ability to perform in an environment driven by deadlines, in a quality manner while handling a number of other key responsibilities.

15. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.

16. Be able to work with little or no supervision and follow instructions.

17. Must represent department in Company meetings.

18. Be able to work all overtime as required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be committed to the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based thinking methodologies.

2. Must conduct all operations of QA incoming inspections per QA requirements.

3. Perform incoming inspection on Essential Materials.

4. Be actively involved and working closely with the Delanson I/C and Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor for the planning, coordination, and control of multiple manufacturing processes.

5. Understand and follow inspection processes and communicate to the I/C and QA Supervisor for adjusting schedules as needed to meet company goals and objectives.

6. Communicate with the I/C and QA Supervisor on an as needed basis to ensure all quality and inventory requirements are being met.

7. Must work with I/C and QA Supervisor to conduct all operations related to shipping hazardous and non-hazardous products via internal company trucks and drivers, common carrier and various contract carriers.

8. Performs loading and unloading functions with the I/C and QA Supervisor of all inbound/ incoming and outbound/outgoing shipments.

9. Completes all transactions of non-stock materials, compares to the purchase order and packing list, post in the inventory system and creates a separate file for non-stock receipts.

10. Perform daily transactions using scanning and barcode functions for QC.

11. Ensures all required QA paperwork is entered into the Inventory System to update the DSMT by the end of the next business day.

12. Ensures to follow up on email communications between PbG Delanson and PbG Radford for business needs.

13. Communicates often with the Quality Assurance Manager with PbG Radford for all need training, refreshers and troubleshooting for recognized quality errors.

14. Responsible for keeping up to date on all BATF and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations involving Quality Assurance.

15. Obeys all company work and safety rules.

16. Performs all other duties as required by management.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to lift 45 - 65 lbs. on an occasional basis without assistance.

2. Must be able to lift in excess of 65 lbs. on an occasional basis with assistance (using pallet jacks and hand trucks).

3. Must be able to sit, stand, bend or move throughout work area for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
