POSITION SUMMARY


The Enrollment Navigator is responsible for the education, support and enrollment of potential members into partnered clubhouse programs. They are available to provide information and support to applicants and referral sources inquiring about what clubhouses have to offer as well as to navigate the process and paperwork needed for enrollment. The role includes developing a rapport with individuals and educating them about the clubhouse model and the various opportunities the clubhouses have to offer them to help improve their lives. The navigator's role is to gather information, complete the application and any other paperwork necessary in an effort to remove barriers to becoming a member of all partnering clubhouses.

Shift: Tuesday: 2:00 PM to 7:00PM Thursday: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM - can go up to a maximum of 20 hours.

Salary: $21.84

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate the Enrollment Center phones and emails in an effort to have a centralized, low-barrier clubhouse enrollment process.
  • Follow the scope of work outline and workflow devised for this important function.
  • Communicate in a manner that fosters relationships and builds trust with individuals that ensures a high level of success in educating and presenting the value of the community and the many opportunities clubhouses have to offer, which ultimately leads to enrollment into the participating clubhouses.
  • Gather information and complete membership application and psychosocial summaries for each applicant.
  • Obtain the required psychiatric assessment affidavit from outside resources.
  • Track all completion efforts and progress made in an organized and systematic manner using the mechanisms developed for such purposes.
  • Facilitate good communication with the participating clubhouses intake/membership offices when providing warm hand-offs of completed applications.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with applicants to help facilitate follow through with the membership process at each participating location.
  • Work in an organized, efficient, time sensitive and deadline-focused manner.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Exemplary interpersonal and conversational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven knowledge of the clubhouse model.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and to conduct assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Must be flexible in scheduling as the Enrollment Center is open every day of the week
  • Must be comfortable working remotely and have a remote environment available that is free of barriers and distractions.
  • Must be able to meet in person during training process.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

  • Minimum of one year in a membership or staff role in the clubhouse model.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred but would consider an Associate's degree with additional years of experience as well as proven verbal and written skills.
  • Academy of Peer Specialist Certification, a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, a plus but not required.
