A week in the life of a Cyber Systems Analyst, Junior:

• Perform vulnerability and penetration tests, identify and defend against threats, and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Configure security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior.
• Create network policies and authorization roles and defend against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
• Configure and support security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.

• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Cyber Systems Analyst
• High School Diploma
• Security+ Certification or equivalent
• Highly motivated, self-starter and team player with a high energy level and willingness to aggressively take on responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to approach job responsibilities with a focus on process improvement
• Able to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
