Job Description

Analyst - LDI & Asset-Liability Management:

  • Build LDI strategies that help pension plans lock-in funding improvements and reduce investment risk
  • Liability Driven Investing strategies.
  • Maintain and develop Conning's Conning360 Institutional Solutions Portal ReactJS web application to build and enhance user-friendly frontend interfaces for internal LDI & Derivatives tools
  • Build systems/processes/strategies to support our Derivatives business.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs/issues and provide appropriate solutions for them
  • Assist in creating material to help clients better understand investment methodologies
  • Conduct analysis on derivatives-based solutions in a cost-effective manner
  • Gain knowledge in Conning's investment, risk, and capital management capabilities
  • Maintain and further develop our Derivatives/Options Platform
  • Address additional/new client needs and requirements
  • Develop new investment strategies
  • Maintain and improve option valuation processes
  • Improve current and develop new models for vanilla and exotic options.
  • Requirements
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint /Excel
  • Understanding of Numerical Analysis, Monte Carlo, Optimization Techniques
  • Good Communication skills and ability to work with clients

Required: Python, SQL, Javascript, (ReactJS)

  • Preferred: C/C++ (desirable), VB
  • Undergraduate degree in STEM and postgraduate degree in quantitative finance/financial engineering required.

Education:

  • Masters degree / PhD preferred.

Pay rate: $88,000 - $98,000

Years of experience: 1+
