Acara Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a mechanical distribution company located in Amherst NY.
My client is seeking a Mechanic who might have interest in utilizing their technical aptitude as an Inside Sales professional.
Salary for this position is up to $55k/year
100% onsite, Amherst NY
- Answers and directs incoming calls and written inquiries and communicates with customers
- Understands and supports sales policies and procedures, provides excellent customer service and aligns all practices with organization objectives
- Uses industry specific software to calculate prices, discounts and quotations to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner
- Clarifies and fulfills customer requests/needs by presenting various selections of products and services to meet customer specifications and provides pricing information as requested.
- Traces and expedites orders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolves customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner
- Advises appropriate sales personal of quotes or inquiries that requires further follow up in writing
- Processes orders received to include order entry, entering customer orders into system or writing up for order entry
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending industry related or manufacturer, vendor, distributor supported educational events (training events, presentations, workshops, etc.)
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associates degree
- Minimum 2-years experience as an Auto Mechanic
- Minimum 1-year experience in a customer support role
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Inside sales experience preferred
- Technical aptitude preferred
