Job Description

The Onsite Service Technician, based in Tulsa, OK, will be accountable for the optimal performance of client devices under contract. The success of this role will be gauged by the ability to exceed client commitments, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction.

The role involves the delivery and installation of printer supplies, maintaining and repairing equipment, and conducting technical analysis of product implementations. The technician will be expected to troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solutions in accordance with product and client specifications, and recommend actions to Lexmark representatives to coordinate product solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key performance indicators for this role include:

- Timely acceptance and response to dispatched service and supply calls within client SLA commitments.
- Accurate diagnosis, repair & maintenance of product(s) and accessories within published electrical, mechanical, and print quality specifications.
- Effective scheduling of calls to manage SLA requirements across assigned activities.
- Regular and effective communications with clients to ensure awareness of call acceptance, ETA, status, and closure.
- Training clients on appropriate usage of product & features.
- Ensuring proper repair and maintenance procedures are performed on identified device(s) and Total Service Call Procedures are completed prior to leaving client site.
- Managing local part inventory and ensuring accurate tracking of inventory levels and transactions.
- Presenting a positive image through proper attire, communication skills, and personal grooming.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Additional expectations include:

- Assuming other special activities, responsibilities, and special projects as directed.
- Working closely with Operations and Project Teams during the implementation and deployment of print technology and support services.
- Conducting Train-the-Trainer and End User training as necessary; coordinating support for improved service diagnostics.
- Conducting printer assessments to optimize fleet and ensure client standards are met.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Desired experience and skills include:

- 1-2 years experience in servicing printers, hard copy devices, or imaging products.
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent driving record.
- Valid OK driver's license.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Sound administrative & computer skills.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of Lexmark devices.

EDUCATION:

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this role.
