Essential Job Duties | Duties, include cutting plants, planting seed, planting transplants, working with grafted plants, applying fertilizer, evaluating commodity quality, and harvesting. Candidate should be able to work within a group setting as well as individually. Candidate must be able to have some flexibility in schedule and willing to perform physical field work. Working conditions can be hot and humid. Prefer candidate to have an interest in vegetable production or horticulture.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm is the general range of hours, start and end times will depend on daily travel and tasks to be completed (aim is for 40-45 hours per week, with some overtime expected during the peak season, 50-55 hours). This full time work schedule would begin in earnest in late April or May. |
