DevOps Manager

As a DevOps Manager, you will be a part of a smart cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients. You'll have the unique opportunity to increase the engineering team productivity by developing and overseeing the database architecture, design, and operations within the products of some of the world's largest brands.

Your Impact:

* Develop and administer databases, and work with business stakeholders to define conceptual, logical, and physical data models

* Implement physical data models and maintain the data dictionary

* Upgrade and maintain various application databases to support requirement changes

* Monitor database operations to ensure properly set configuration options

* Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to database environments

* Establish and implement database policies, procedures, and standards and ensure their conformance with information systems objectives

* Lead or participate in the development of feasibility studies, designs, and operations support plans

* Develop technical requirements and identify solutions to meet the technical requirements

* Use agile and traditional data modeling techniques to elaborate and clarify project requirements

* Proactively report on progress, risks, and issues

* Identify relevant data standards and federal regulatory requirements; configure the database to comply with those requirements

* Develop and review project documentation

* Maintain system knowledge base

* Support the installation and testing of database services

* Restore database and application operations under planned or unplanned service disruption

* Design and implement reports and dashboards using tools like SSRS, Tableau, etc.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

* Multi Cloud Experience (Azure, AWS, GCP); experiences with Cloud Service continuous delivery systems

* Extensive experience working with database systems - data modeling, data warehousing, database development, database management, etc.

* Thorough knowledge of MS SQL Server database, T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) for ETL

* Creativity with an eye for developing new and innovative solutions

* Excellent organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple concurrent projects

* Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with stakeholders at alllevels of the organization

* Familiarity and experience with security planning and security control implementation as it relates to secure database operations

Pay range 118K-180K

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
