In order to support our growing manufacturing operation, we are seeking to fill the position of First Shift, Advanced Materials - Mill Operator.

Estimated working hours: 6am-2pm.

The Mill Operator primary role is to operate milling equipment in Advanced Materials manufacturing department. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly! May be required to perform other duties, such as packaging, inventory cycle counts and/or work with other production equipment. Demonstrates full competency in the operation and maintenance of the calendar and mill equipment as documented on training records.

Key skills for this position include but are not limited to:

• Sets up and operates machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements
• Adjusts and cleans machines.
• Documents work performed as required.
• Takes Initiative and offers suggestions to improve the operation
• Fully competent on specific assigned tasks and/or equipment within 2 months
• Performs work in a timely manner with attention to quality
• Must be able to achieve production quotas set for the machine assigned to
• Follows and takes direction
• Demonstrates safe and orderly work practices
• Maintains a total awareness of quality practices and procedures
• Responsive to all production requests
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends (mandatory overtime may be required)

Hours: 6am-2pm, Monday through Friday.

Mandatory Overtime may be required as needed.
