Overview:

The Content Licensing team is responsible for leveraging Conde Nast's robust archive and portfolio by authorizing third party requests for logos, seals, endorsements, illustrations/cartoons, text, video, and iconic imagery. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Content Licensing, the Content Licensing Associate will be a key addition to the overall global Conde Nast Licensing team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-driven and detail oriented with some experience in a relevant field: such as business, communications, sales, media, or licensing.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support in multiple areas of the Content Licensing business

    • Monitor, track, and service a high volume of various incoming third party license requests for Conde Nast-owned images, illustrations/cartoons, and text

    • Work closely with the Rights & Permissions team to seek clearance for content usage

    • Support initiatives to monetize content by processing third-party requests efficiently and effectively

    • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders at Conde Nast including editorial, marketing, sales, finance, legal, and billing

    • Create and modify licensing agreements

    • Assist in review of sales reports, monthly ledger and royalty reports as necessary

    • Identify and target new revenue opportunities

    • Handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned by manage

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree

    • Proficient in Google Suite and all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    • Independent and resourceful professional with sound business judgement and strategy

    • Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

    • Intern experience or other history in a fast-paced environment

    • Interest in media, art, and/or journalism a plus

    The expected base salary range for this position is from $62,400 - $65,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
