Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engagement Lead and manage teams of Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers for one or more commercial projects to ensure effective negotiations, well-aligned solution-delivery-to-plan, clear engagement governance accountabilities, profitability, and overall clientsatisfaction

• Enrichclient partnering andanticipateclient needs based on a solid understanding of emerging industry requirements and/or technological breakthroughs inTech Modernization.

• Ensures theappropriate alignmentand collaboration of consulting teams and individuals to support project requirements and activities in the focus area and within larger Cognizant and clientecosystems;

• Serve as a people leader, supporting the recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, andmentorshipof your colleagues in Consulting;participatein people development and community-building activities

• Guidedevelopment,providefeedback, and conduct performancereviews;

• Advocate for andestablishappropriate recognitionfor Consulting within projects, and negotiate applicable consultant rates in project sizing that correspond to the value Consultants contribute toengagements;

• Develop and manage the capture, communication, and sharing of intellectual property (IP) and project artifacts for a focus area, domain area, or practice managementarea;

• Exercise leadership in the development of Consulting serviceofferings;

• Leverage collegial networks across Cognizant (e.g., sales, service line community, offshore delivery) andexternspartnersto innovate solutioning or resolve issues; and

• Support and contribute to the establishment of thought leadership in the industry, to promote Cognizant's brand and to driveadditionalopportunities for Cognizant.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working within a DevOps environment with expertise in infrastructure-as-code and understanding of software/applicationdevelopment

• 5+ years expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCE, OpenStack, VMWare, etc.) and Linux/Windows operating systems

• Experience withHands-on design and implementation work to get projects off the ground, determine solutions and drive improvements to existing infrastructure at client sites.

• Acts as the Engagement Lead and manages teams of Consultants,Senior Consultants, and Senior ConsultingManagers for one or more commercial projects to ensure effective negotiations, well-aligned solution-delivery-to-plan, clear engagement governance accountabilities, profitability, and overall clientsatisfaction

• Experiencebuilding CI/CD Pipelines

• Experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt) and infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef Provisioning)

• Experience with AWS, Docker containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesosphere, OpenShift, etc.)

• Experience mentoring, coaching, and/or leading a team and able to communicate effectively with all levels of theorganization

• Reviews project deliverables across workstreams from the perspective of QA, requirements alignment, and solution integration

• Works directly with clients as an engagement lead tovalidateand leverage project success as the basis both for reinforcing positive client relationships and stimulating pull-through or repeatbusiness

• Experience working in client facing roles interacting with key stake holders to lead theengagement, andmanage the team and all expected outcomes.

• Deep understanding of the DevOps philosophy and Agile methods

• Automating traditional processes with scripting or configuration management

• Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routinetasks

• Experience of the full software delivery lifecycle

• Experience with cost or financial based projects

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment at different clientsites

• Consulting experience highly preferred

• Any FinOps or FinOps Certifications is a plus

• Currently we areoperating inremote andhybrid environments andwill be for the foreseeable future. please note that this role requires up to10% domestic travel. This role will not require relocation and you can be based anywhere in the US.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95,500 -$214,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
