Peapack Private Wealth Management division includes investment management services provided for individuals and institutions; personal trust services, including services as executor, trustee, administrator, custodian and guardian, and other financial planning, tax preparation and advisory services. Officers from the Peapack Private Wealth Management Division are available to provide wealth management, trust and investment services at the Bank's headquarters in Bedminster, at private banking locations in Morristown, Princeton and Teaneck, New Jersey and at the Bank's subsidiaries, PGB Trust & Investments of Delaware, in Greenville, Delaware, Murphy Capital Management, in Gladstone, New Jersey, Quadrant Capital Management in Fairfield, New Jersey and Lassus Wherley in New Providence, New Jersey and Bonita Springs, Florida.

Job Description

The Peapack Private Wealth Advisor is focused on developing and servicing high net worth clients. The wealth advisor is the firm's primary point of contact for a select group of clients and is instrumental in introducing new business development opportunities to the firm. In this critically important role, Wealth Advisors manage client relationships, providing sound financial planning and investment advice working closely across Peapack Private to deliver white glove service across a range of solutions including trust & estate planning, private banking, investment management, and commercial banking. Wealth Advisors grow Peapack's business through the efficient use of their time with clients, prospective clients, centers of influence and community involvement, making an invaluable contribution to the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage HNW and UWHN client relationships
  • Drive new client acquisition
  • Cultivate COI relationships
  • Implement clients' management strategy and financial plan.
  • Collaborate with the firm's investment team and portfolio managers to ensure client portfolios are managed in-line with planning objectives.
  • Assemble and lead the client team that serves the client - i.e. portfolio managers, trust officers, private bankers, financial planners, tax specialists, and client service officers.
  • Deliver extraordinary client service through professional excellence, the highest ethical standards, and the effective use of available resources

Qualifications

  • Strong track record for business development
  • Existing portable relationships preferred.
  • Outstanding investment and planning acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player who can work well across the organization - i.e. commercial, retail and investment banking, credit, banking, compliance, etc...
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Possess existing COI relationships and have a strong network of professional, community service, and social relationships that result in new business leads and opportunities
  • CFP a plus
