Children's Aid's Fiscal department supports the agency in all aspects of financial management including budgeting, restricted and unrestricted revenue, payroll, purchasing, accounting, grants and contract management, treasury, liability management and disbursement functions for a large multiservice organization.
Position Summary: The Budget Analyst will work with the agency's central budget team, reporting to the Budget Director, and assisting in the budgeting function for the organization. The central budget team consists of three members and they collaborate closely with the five divisional budget directors. The Budget Analyst will support several processes in Budget including budget reporting and results, salary allocations, cost center management, and budget analysis. Besides the standard Microsoft Office suite of products, the Budget Analyst will work primarily with Prophix cloud-based budgetary and forecasting platforms, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains GL and UKG Pro tools to complete their daily work. In addition, they will be promoting strong collaboration in executing activities and communication as well as foster a strengthened customer service effort targeted to both internal and external stakeholders.
