Job Summary

As a Senior Retail Operations and Development Specialist, you will support strategic retail initiatives and retail tools/technology. This role is equal parts product management and program management. Based on business needs, you could be responsible for scoping out a new tech vendor to display content in-stores or driving new strategic initiatives forward that enable us to continue providing a great employee and customer experience.

You'll lean on your experience managing products and programs from concept to launch. Your recommendations are based off data, and you know how to be agile and prioritize solutions that drive results. This role reports to the Manager of Retail Initiatives & Tools.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a wide set of solutions simultaneously through the product lifecycle, from concept and ideation, to testing, launch, and continuous optimizations
  • Ensure seamless integration of all front-end and back-end retail sales applications including sales floor technology (e.g., digital content management, customer check-in systems, sound systems) and sales systems (e.g., POS systems, billing systems, CRM Software/Salesforce)
  • Build and manage strategic initiatives for retail (e.g., focus groups, leadership training)
  • Negotiate and oversee partnerships with 3rd party technology companies
  • Partner with cross-functionals to understand what cross-platform capabilities we need to build for working efficiencies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of technical experience, Product Management, Program Management, or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and front-end and back-end sales systems, including but not limited to, POS systems, CRM systems, and sales automation tools
  • Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Trello, Jira etc)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, self-sufficient with strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Strong project/program management skills and ability to pair strategic thinking with execution excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data-points into easily consumable insights
  • Curious and detail oriented - leave no stone unturned, but has the business acumen to prioritize actions
  • Desire to grow and learn!
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to be regularly present in the Optimum field across the footprint

Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law.Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00-$126,684.00/ year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
