Job Description
Royal Bank of Canada seeks a Vice President, Investment Banker in New York, NY to participate in transaction execution and develop client relationships and business opportunities. Work with industry and product groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas and opportunities. Identify operational risk and control deficiencies within the business and escalate operational risk loss events to the line manager with recommended solutions. Identify viable investment banking opportunities that align with the budget and plans. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration with substantial coursework in Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field, plus 2 years of lead left transaction experience. 2 years of experience in rating advisory, collateralized lending, and all aspects of leveraged finance and capital business markets. Series 79 and 63 licenses required.
The wage range for this job is $229,715 - $250,000.This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
