Seneca is seeking a skilled and experienced Transportable 4G/ 5G O&M Support Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for providing operational and maintenance support for transportable 4G/5G infrastructure during exercises and disaster scenarios and actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 4G/5G technologies, RF technology, antennas, networking, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1-Deployment and Setup:

• Assist in the deployment and setup of transportable 5G infrastructure for exercises and disaster support operations.
• Ensure proper installation and configuration of equipment, including antennas and RF components.

2-Operational Support:

• Provide operational support during exercises and disaster scenarios, ensuring continuous functionality of transportable 5G systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, such as connectivity problems or equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate with on-site teams and stakeholders to address technical challenges and implement solutions promptly.

3-Maintenance and Upkeep:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on transportable 5G equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues proactively.

4-Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate expertise in 4G/5G technologies, RF technology, and antenna systems.
• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies related to transportable 5G systems and RF communications.

5-Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations, maintenance activities, and operational procedures.
• Generate reports on system performance, maintenance tasks, and incident resolution for documentation and analysis purposes.

6-Training and Knowledge Sharing:

• Provide training and guidance to other team members or end-users on the operation and maintenance of transportable 5G systems.
• Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in operational and maintenance support for 4G/5G networks, preferably in a field operational environment.
• In-depth knowledge of RF technology, antenna systems, and network protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel and work in challenging environments during exercises and disaster response operations.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, or equivalent are a plus.
