Position Description

As the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing at PAR, you will assume a pivotal role in leading our corporate marketing endeavors, encompassing event marketing, public relations, social media, and brand development. Your responsibilities will extend to shaping our company's narrative, enhancing market awareness, and fostering impactful connections with crucial stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Position Location

This position is based at our corporate headquarters in New Hartford. We understand the importance of finding the right talent, regardless of location, and are open to discussing relocation assistance for the ideal candidate.

Pay Band

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.

What You will Do and Be Responsible For

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's objectives, target markets, and brand identity.
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a skilled team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success to ensure seamless integration and optimization of marketing initiatives in support of business growth.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of impactful events, encompassing industry conferences, trade shows, and company-sponsored events, to bolster brand visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation.
  • Spearhead the development of compelling content and messaging across diverse channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and collateral materials, to engage target audiences and drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry analysts to secure favorable coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify avenues for innovation and differentiation, adapting marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing efforts with the business's goals and direction.
  • Manage marketing budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to optimize ROI and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to marketing, ensuring that all initiatives are geared toward delivering value and enhancing the overall customer experience

Core Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team-building acumen, capable of inspiring and motivating a diverse team of marketing professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset, adept at analyzing complex market dynamics and translating insights into actionable plans.
  • Innovative mindset with a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to drive measurable business impact and ROI through marketing initiatives.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for events and client engagements.
