Drive process cycle time reduction and process improvements beyond weekly time horizon
Create additional capacity on existing assets
Tracks metrics to discover areas of improvement and monitor progress
Assess and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Update, approve, and maintain technical process information including part V operating manual sections, manufacturing instructions, and outputs from change management
Implement small-medium scope MOCs
Develop scope for small - medium scope projects, and provide justification for maintenance capex projects
Coordinate with Technology to execute NPI's and product translations
Lead production trials as assigned
Support PHA and implement corrective actions
Work with Process Development Engineer to develop long term plan for the products and business.
The following are required for the role
BS degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
2+ years of related industry experience
Able to communicate effectively across levels of the organization, solid presentation skills
Ability to troubleshoot process problems, identify and implement corrective actions
Ability to create simple, effective, and comprehensive work instructions to document strict process procedures and methods
Ability to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Strong sense of urgency, and accountability, and delivers on commitments
Strong computer skills, including MS Office
The following are preferred for this role
Manufacturing experience
Technical knowledge in industrial equipment and chemical products
Demonstrated knowledge of continuous and batch chemical processes
Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S experience
Cause Map trained
Project and process safety management
Automation and digitization skillset
Knowledge of instrument, electric domain. (DCS, PHA, LOPA)
Knowledge of SAP, Minitab, Team Guru

Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. and the ability to comply with Personal Protective Equipment requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions/locations).

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $73,200.00 - $107,360.00The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
