Overview

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading our owner's project management efforts in the Rochester region by generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, overseeing and growing a team of professionals, and managing the delivery of services.


Responsibilities

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are a leader who can develop our presence in diverse markets including education, commercial, healthcare, life sciences, and not-for-profit, via opportunities for new construction, remodels, and new fit-outs of owned and leased facilities.
  • You are skilled at creating and managing relationships, leading teams and delivering results.
  • You are adept at fostering relationships with internal and external teams to grow the organization, deliver superior service, and perpetuate the brand.
  • You are accomplished in developing and aligning strategies with business priorities and developing standards and best practices for service delivery.
  • You manage and provide direction and leadership to your team to ensure the overall highest-level delivery, quality control, and management of projects;
  • You have been responsible for problem-solving, planning and organizing, and decision-making;
  • You are skillful in handling any escalated issues immediately and effectively and in leading major project team discussions, leading to appropriate actions and resolution;
  • You are a motivational and effective leader.
  • You are efficient, dependable, self-motivated, and looking to grow.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelors required.
  • 15+ years of experience preferred in roles of increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Design and construction industry experience.
  • Strong market understanding with deep relationships & business development skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving skills, planning and organizing, decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across organizational lines.
  • Experience with program strategy development and oversight.
  • Superior communication skills, influencing and leading, facilitation and team work capabilities.
  • Strong presentation skills required for team meetings as well as senior level presentations.

  • You are a leader on the project management scene with a growing team of talented individuals spearheading exciting new projects.
  • You have led the full integration with the local team into the broader project management.
  • You have realized significant expansion of clients and markets served, including both private and public clientele.
  • You have fully embraced the technologies and systems utilized by the CPL team and have led the training and development of all systems and standards into the region.

Compensation: $125,000-$190,000 DOQ.
