From your PASSION to ours

The position will be responsible for a variety of activities that support and provide technical assistance to the Logistics Department. Perform routine data collection, analysis, and audits to promote continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction in all logistics operations.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Assist in the processing and investigation of incidents and Over, Short, Damaged, and Refused (OSDR) shipments.
  • Possess general knowledge of food safety, hygiene, GMPs, pre-requisite programs, and distribution practices to aid the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems.
  • Able to identify areas of opportunity or nonconformity and escalate for resolution.
  • Assist in the management, development, and enforcement of the quality management program.
  • Collect data from various sources and develop reporting metrics with the guidance of the Quality Manager to improve operations results.
  • Use data analysis tools such as Access, Excel, etc. to analyze, interpret, and report results that drive improvement.
  • Provide all analytical data results to the supervisor and project manager in an organized and clear format.
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly reporting capabilities.
  • Customer-specific projects to drive customer service and satisfaction.
  • Perform the necessary audits on transportation and distribution centers to ensure product integrity, order accuracy, and proper service.

Specific Projects

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of QMS both internally and externally through auditing of internal/3rd party warehouses
  • Assist in the development of procedures for internal and third-party logistics warehouses
  • Assist in OSDR reporting including the development of proper CAPA based on statistical data
  • Identify gaps in current procedures and implement sustainable solutions within warehousing and transportation

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:


Education/Experience

  • Minimum of an HS Diploma or Equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of logistics experience

Specialized Knowledge

  • Strong data analysis capabilities and competency in Excel, Access
  • Understanding of Food Safety/ Quality programs
  • Previous experience in AS400 or SAP is a plus

Skills / Abilities

  • Good communication skills and willingness to self-learn new procedures and software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize time to deliver results on time
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing and presentations.
