Genesis10 is currently seeking a RAD Desk Developer / Support with our client in their New York, NY location. This is a 12 month + right to hire position.

Summary:

• We are seeking a RAD Desk Developer / Support professional (BA4 equivalent) to join our dynamic team that plays a crucial role in supporting the equity derivatives business.
• Operating in a highly front office-aligned environment, our team spans across Hong Kong, London, and New York, demanding agility, and innovation to swiftly address and resolve issues for key front office and other users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide desk support with a 50-50 split between support and development functions.
• Work closely with the trading floor and quantitative clientele to understand and address their needs.
• Offer pricing and risk management services and tooling to enhance the efficiency of the equity derivatives business.
• Utilize a diverse range of technologies, including the high-performant and home-grown functional programming environment FMD, Excel/VBA, C#, Python, and Angular.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration and effective use of technology, prioritizing front-office requirements.

Requirements:

• Equivalent to a BA4 level, with demonstrated experience in desk support and development roles.
• Proficiency in technologies such as Excel/VBA, C#, Python, and Angular.
• Familiarity with derivatives products, especially complex products from any asset class, is highly valuable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively in a fast-paced trading floor environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across global locations.
