We're seeking a future team member for the role of Strategic Enterprise Marketing Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team. This hybrid role is located in New York City, New York.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Partner heavily and maintain collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders and marketing partners.
  • Provide strategic marketing guidance and create compelling vision for the function.
  • Manage agile programs and is proficient in developing short and long-term roadmaps to ensure visibility and timely execution of deliverables.
  • Align activities and deliverables to key strategic objectives and disseminate new product messaging, marketing materials, communications, etc. for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop standard operating procedures, policies and overall guidelines within their functions while proactively presenting improvements and solutions.
  • Identifies and champions the best creative ideas and actively advances them. Builds excitement across teams for creative options.
  • Assumes responsibility for the outcome of functional or business initiatives. Quickly and decisively acts while mitigating risk.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Overall track record of professional and academic success.
  • 6-8 years of years of strategic marketing, content and program development in high-growth environments.
  • Experience motivating cross-functional teams while collaborating in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with sustainability marketing programs.
  • Experience with B2B and B2C marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Highly analytical mind-set with attention to detail and metrics of success.
  • Agile approach to program management, marketing plan development.
  • Self-starter and is comfortable with ambiguity.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $97,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.


This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
