Astound Broadband, a growing leader in telecommunications is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team in a Direct Sales Representative role. We are a "Triple Play Provider (cable, internet, phone)" offering superior customer service and advanced technology to our residential clients. The ideal individual will be dynamic, creative and self-motivated, bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.


The right candidate will have unlimited earnings potential as well as a "fun and exciting" working environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Connect with potential residential customers through relationship building, telemarketing, networking and door - to - door selling
    Achieving goals and expectations through these relationships, reaching sales objectives and maximizing the penetration of Astound
  • Broadband services within their assigned territory
  • Must be customer service focused and be able to resolve customer concerns
  • Distribute marketing material
  • Participate in special sale events

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), College experience, preferred
  • 2-3 years sales experience, preferred
  • Bilingual-English & Spanish, preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal / written communications skills
  • Prior experience in maintaining successful / ongoing business partner relationships with customer base
  • Outstanding Organizational skills
  • Experience in implementing Sales process improvement programs


Other Job Specific Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong management / leadership experience in managing sales / operations teams
  • Experience in developing and support of compensation plans
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Total compensation range specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations: Base salary of $32,145.15 plus $67,000 in commission at goal. Uncapped earnings potential with opportunities to hit additional commission and bonus targets. Mileage reimbursement program, commuter benefits, company provided cell phone and laptop/tablet, 401(k) plan with company match, medical, dental, vision and many additional benefits.
