Job Description

As we continue to expand our presence in the digital landscape, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Paid Social to lead our social media strategy and execution.

Strategic Leadership

* Develop and execute comprehensive Paid Social strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets.

* Lead a team of Paid Social professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and career development.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Media Planning, Data Analytics, and other buying channels (e.g. SEM, Programmatic, Digital Partnerships) to align Paid Social initiatives with overall business goals.

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy to ensure the company remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and platform policies related to Paid Social advertising and stay informed about changes to platform algorithms, ad policies, and other relevant developments, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and spokesperson for the company on social media platforms, fostering positive relationships with followers, influencers, and partners.
  • clearly, persuasively, and confidently to internal senior management and senior clients and deliver your message whether it be a QBR or a new business pitch with style, substance, and enthusiasm.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

* In conjunction with the Director, Paid Social oversee the day-to-day management of all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms. Including, but not limited to the following tasks:

o Campaign planning, management, and implementation

o Budget management to ensure efficient use of resources and maximization of return on investment.

o Establishment and optimization of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of campaigns.

o Develop and deliver regular reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into campaign performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

* Manage publisher and vendor relationships.

* Strengthen client relationships.

* Monitor client and competitor changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic social media campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a high-performing social media team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable social media initiatives.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and storytelling.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Adaptable and resourceful with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $220,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications
