Summary: The Child Mind Institute seeks an experienced and proactive Video Manager to guide and accelerate the execution of the Child Mind Institute's video content strategy. The ideal candidate is a smart, well-organized and flexible team player with exceptional project management skills and has the ablilty to manage complicated projects and see them through to delivery and promotion. With a creative and forward-looking spirit, this project manager/ producer role is a partner in all aspects of Child Mind Institute video development from RFP and pre-production to overseeing shoot day logistics, managing approvals, and coordinating with video production and media partners. The Video Manager will organize video content, develop and manage the video content calendar, and plan and coordinate video production in consultation with Marketing/Communications Leadership, Editorial and Digital content teams, as well as other internal stakeholders including Clinical, Development, and the Office of the President. The Video Manager will be responsible for quality control and timely execution of 250+ videos/ year for critical ongoing projects including clinician profile videos, Project YouTube (our strategic channel building initiative), patient stories, interdepartmental training videos, and our annual Mental Health Awareness Month celebrity video campaign each May. The position will also be called upon to execute and/or arrange for urgent and ad-hoc video projects to help the Child Mind Institute take advantage of fast-moving press or relationship-building opportunities (such as a recent World Mental Health Day panel with children, the Surgeon General and Second Gentleman). Reporting to the Creative Director in the Marketing and Communications department, this is an exempt, full-time, hybrid position located in our NYC headquarters office. This role requires at least four days/ week in our Mid-Town NYC office, however the role requires flexibility and being physically present for all NYC-based video shoots and recordings which may require being in-office five days on some weeks, often with short notice.
