What you'll do......


As the Sr. Manager, Integrated Communications & Brand PR you will manage all external communications efforts as a key member of the Integrated Communications and Marketing team. This role requires strong media relations and media landscape knowledge, project management, creativity, presentation skills, while also being able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial setting.

The Sr. Manager, Integrated Communications & Brand PR you will be the day-to-day lead for earned media, as well as external agencies and the internal team for communications and marketing programs. And this is how you will do it....

Communications/Media
* Lead and support KIND campaigns across all marketing workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver programs against key priorities while seizing opportunities for culturally relevant, reactive campaigns
* Lead all external media communication launch assets, finalizing materials like press releases, media strategies, spokesperson talking points and reports
* Support future KIND campaign planning to continue telling KIND's story in an impactful, mediable manner
* Support the development and management of the corporate reputation and communications strategy, working directly with Sr. Director of Communications & Purpose
* Prepare and staff executive leadership interviews, meetings and speaking opportunities with senior leadership
* Develop and maintain relationships with key members of the media, across consumer and business media, ensuring an earned media expertise is maintained
* Oversee all news engine efforts and events, ensuring media impression goals are maintained and activations support telling KIND's purpose narrative in the most mediable way as possible
Team Management
* Manage the Integrated Communications Coordinator, ensuring personal long-term success at KIND and achieving monthly news engine goals
* Manage communications team budget
* Serve as the day-to-day team lead to the brand communications agency as well as the events and activation agency
* Serve as the day-to-day communications liaison to internal team members for any external communications needs

* Confident, driven, self-starter with ability to work autonomously and multi-task
* Passion for driving results and living the KIND core values
* Dialed into culture and are constantly scanning landscapes across culture and wellness while scanning social trends to derive news hooks
* Strong team player and able to lead projects but also possess the ability to work independently
* One who takes initiative and demonstrates resourcefulness as a self-starter
* Able to manage up, as well as coach direct reports and external agencies
* Genuine in your desire to help make the world a kinder place, committing to always spreading and celebrating kindness

You have...


* 8+ years of public relations experience, including 2+ years of agency experience and in-house experience at a food/health/wellness brand
* B.A. in communications
* Strong media relations and organizational skills
* Attention to detail and can manage and implement programs with excellence with support of internal and agency partners
* Strategic thinking capabilities and can develop creative programs independently as needed
* An interest in purpose-driven storytelling

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $107,500 to $137,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
