Responsibilities

Responsible for executing Tax field work with limited Partner or Manager oversight.

Essential Functions, Skills

• Execute assignments in the areas of payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and intermediate corporate, partnership and individual tax returns.
• Keep current on recent technical pronouncements in both Tax and Accounting
• Participates in professional development opportunities
• Put forth diligent effort to pass CPA Exam
• Begin to recognizes extended service opportunities
• Strong technology skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective listening skills
• Strong time management, analytical and research skills
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy

Education, Knowledge

• BA/BS/MS in Accounting
• Eligible to sit for the CPA Exam
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting and tax principles, and ability to solve routine engagement issues
• Ability to prepare basic footnotes
• Familiarity with clients in the construction industry

Localtravel within the tri state area.
