Position Description:

An Event Marketing Specialist at PAR will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating all aspects of our event marketing initiatives. From trade shows and industry conferences to customer appreciation events and product launches, the Event Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and fostering meaningful connections within the restaurant industry.

The exceptional Event Specialist should deliver a remarkable brand experience for our customers, reinforce client-to-business relations, enhance our organization's image, aid business growth, and deliver events that meet objectives and exceed expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in the technology or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful B2B events, including trade shows, conferences, and corporate functions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal teams, external partners, and event attendees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure ROI.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support event activities (estimated travel: 25%).

What You will Do and Be Responsible For:

  • Develop comprehensive event marketing strategies aligned with company objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for trade shows, conferences, seminars, and other industry events, including venue selection, booth design, staffing, and collateral production.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of event initiatives and alignment with messaging and branding guidelines.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Cultivate relationships with event organizers, industry influencers, and strategic partners to maximize exposure and opportunities for participation.
  • Drive pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up activities, including email campaigns, social media engagement, and lead nurturing efforts.
  • Measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of event marketing campaigns and identify areas for optimization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in event marketing and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance the company's presence and impact at events.

Pay Band:

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
