Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Community School Director, the Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Community School Leadership Team at the C.S.61. The Data Coordinator provides administrative support and manages additional projects and duties as indicated by the Community School Director. The Data Coordinator works closely with the Community School core team to oversee key components of programs, related to participant data and program communications. The Data Coordinator will be responsible for greeting clients and guests, operating the central switchboard, and will be the primary person responsible for data entry and other clerical functions which support the day-to-day operations of C.S.61 Community School.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of data entry as prescribed by the leadership team.
  • Greet visitors and interact with the general public in a manner that is aligned with the values and mission of Children's Aid.
  • Process applications, and intake forms for Children's Aid Society programs such as after school, summer camp and other related programs.
  • Provide logistical support and coordination for special events.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as needed, to support the work of the Community School team.
  • Support the data collection and reporting needed for student and parent programs and activities.
  • Put the appropriate systems in place to track participation, quality and impact of all activities for students and parents
  • Prepare biweekly reports to present at Core Team meetings.
  • Attend DYCD, Children's Aid and any other necessary meetings pertaining to data collection.
  • Perform all other related functions as necessary or assigned such as administrative work, managing projects for Community School Director and Program Director

Qualifications:

  • Strong Written & Verbal Communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet navigation, and database management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues across a spectrum of functional areas.
  • High School Diploma.
