Human Resources Coordinator

Wilson Elser's National Human Resources department located in our White Plains office currently seeks a Human Resources Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for highly organized, detail-oriented, professional to join an impactful and growing HR team. The Human Resources Coordinator role supports a variety of HR administrative functions within the Firm. Such duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to: data entry and onboarding/offboarding transactions, HR reporting and surveys, responding to internal and external HR-related inquires, creating offer letters and performing background checks.

The Position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • 2+ years of prior HR or administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • UKG Pro experience a plus
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, while dealing with interruptions and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical
  • Able to quickly learn proprietary software systems and databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to integrate into a fast paced environment
  • Self-starter who can work well independently and within a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding activities such as background check management and creating offer letters
  • Assist with firm-wide HR transactions and data entry within UKG
  • Handle all new hire, status change, and termination announcements to system administrators
  • Generate various diversity, EEO, and ad hoc reports as needed by internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle all unemployment claims and employment verifications

The annualized salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
