Position Summary

The Head of Marketing and Sales Technology is a critical leadership role in the firm and is responsible for steering our marketing and sales technology platform. This position reports directly to TCW's Global Chief Technology Officer and is a member of the Engineering Solutions management team. This role is also part of the Global Distribution team, working closely and considered part of the leadership team across the Distribution COO and Senior Client and Marketing leaders at TCW.

The successful candidate should have a proven track record in financial services, with Wealth Management or Asset Management strongly preferred, and demonstrated experience in employing advanced analytics to provide value to marketing and sales professionals. The candidate must have experience working closely with executive leadership and providing strategic direction, as well as experience in building a robust team and overseeing the integration of cutting-edge technology platforms.

Essential Duties
    Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a technological vision that aligns with the company's growth goals, especially focusing on marketing and sales.
  • Team Formation: Identify, recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier talent. Establish a high-performing Marketing and Sales Tech team to support our growth initiatives.
  • Technology Expertise: Ensure seamless integration and functionality of key platforms, particularly Microsoft products, Salesforce, and cloud solutions (Azure/AWS).
  • Actionable Insights: Strong understanding of data analytics to ensure the marketing and sales teams have actionable insights and tools to maximize ROI.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, particularly the marketing and sales teams, to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that drive business results.
  • Vendor and Platform Management: Oversee relationships with key technology vendors and platform providers, ensuring the company gets optimal value and performance.
  • Risk Management: Ensure technology implementations adhere to industry best practices, maintaining data security and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in marketing and sales technology leadership roles, with a strong portfolio of successful technology projects
  • Expertise in Analytics services to support and optimize the firm's data analytics capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including implementation, customization, and integration with other systems
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of cloud, web development technologies and frameworks
  • Experience in managing and executing website revamps, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Demonstrable experience with data analytics and metrics to drive decisions and improvements
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing small teams, and the ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering both requirement and large, complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Agile and flexible thinker who is also able to drive execution and outcomes.

Desired Qualifications
  • Certifications in Azure/AWS, Salesforce, or other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of financial services and asset management industry.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and strategies, including SEO, SEM, and content management systems.

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For CA & NY based positions, the base salary range is $250K to $300K. This is an anticipated range only.

Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
