Overview

Develops and implements the strategic Information Technology sourcing and vendor relationship strategies. Manages the selection, acquisition and monitoring of contractual agreements for hardware, software and IT services for the enterprise. Works under general direction.


Compensation:

$77,200.00 - $96,500.00 Annual

What You Will Do

  • Assists with all aspects of contract processing.
  • Qualifies vendors and maintains an approved vendor database and tracking system.
  • Maintains contact with vendors to manage the status and quality of orders and the progress toward contractual commitments.
  • Participates in the budget process, such as annual budget planning, providing cash flow for other departments, quarterly reconciliation and ad hoc expense reports.
  • Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and return-on-investment metrics and initiating contract modifications.
  • Pursues new vendor relationships as needed.
  • Articulates and negotiates service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develops, or assists in the development of Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and business cases.
  • Identifies to executive management any contractual or performance issues of system vendors.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related technical field required

Work Experience:
Three years' experience including vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, contract administration, project or asset management in a technology environment. Effective communication skills, creative problem solving capabilities, and a full understanding of e-procurement tools and the ability to incorporate them into sourcing strategies required Experience with IT hardware and software required Ability to multitask and interact with associates at all levels of an organization and strong customer service/client service orientation skills required Strong negotiation skills and the ability to negotiate to win-win outcomes required Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
