Job Description

Datadog is seeking a Benefits & Leaves Associate who has a passion for benefits while supporting the benefits & leaves administration for all AMER employees (U.S., Canada, Mexico) and partner closely with our Benefits Manager on ad hoc reporting and projects. This customer service-oriented role communicates and administers benefit plans, leaves programs and policies through direct interaction with employees as well as vendors and other departments.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist employees with benefits information and questions, enrolling in available benefit plans and resolving issues with benefit providers
  • Monitor integrations, funding for benefits programs and fix errors
  • Reconcile semi-monthly payroll deductions related to benefits with Payroll and Accounting Teams
  • Work with outside accounting firm on annual retirement plan audit process
  • Maintain and update Benefits Dashboard in Workday with relevant information, latest plan documents and other materials
  • Coordinate onsite events such as wellness fairs and information sessions
  • Research best practices and develop recommendations for implementing new or enhancing existing leave programs. Develop and streamline processes for efficiency while ensuring positive employee and manager experience, consistency, and compliance.
  • Process and track all leaves of absence (e.g., FMLA, PFL, Disability), providing timely notification/response in accordance with applicable state, local and federal laws and regulations, as well as company policy.

Who You Are:

  • Strong understanding of benefits processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules/procedures
  • 2+ years of benefits knowledge and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite (including advanced skills with Excel)
  • Experience with open enrollment or annual benefits renewals cycle a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Sound professional judgment and discretion to handle confidential matters
  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy or quality of work product
  • Working knowledge of Workday is a plus

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
