SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR
The Brooklyn Museum seeks four high school or college students to assist art-making classes in a for diverse youth ages 8-13. Art classes focus on painting, sculpture, drawing, animation and photography.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching youth and/or assisting in art classes.
- Excellent communication, group management, and teaching skills.
- Documented good attendance and punctuality.
- As required by the Department of Health, all staff must submit a physical exam and TB test, with signed documentation from a physician, by the start of training.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily check-in and check-out
- Prepare art supplies
- Work one-on-one with campers in art classes
- Lead afternoon activities
- Work with the camp team to sanitize art supplies and clean work spaces in between classes
- Support campers throughout the camp day
- Supervise campers at the beginning and end of day and during lunch time

Schedule:
- Training Schedule: June 24-28.
- Camp: July 1-August 9, 2024, 8:30 am-5:00 pm
- All dates are required
